The main goal of Adacel is to provide a guaranteed protection to Canadians during frosty northern winters.

Health Ministry of Canada Reveals the New National Immunization Strategy

May 10th, 2008 by admin

Michael Mitchell, an official of Health Ministry, revealed a new Canadian national immunization strategy. Canadian television yesterday was whowing Mr. Mitchell stating that both houses of Parliament are reviewing the National Immunization Strategy (NIS) initiative. This strategy is mainly focused upon making Meningitis and Hepatitis A vaccination obligatory all around Canadian schools.

Having an assist with the Canadian vaccination program planning in since 2003, The NIS is based on the idea that all issues connected with immunization must be on the forefront of the Canadian public health agenda. The initiative is also lobbied by Canada’s most influential vaccination company, the developers of various well-known immunization shots like Vivaxim, Adacel, Menactra or Immucyst - Sanofi Pasteur.

Toronto Star’s articles of recent times assess the probability of NIS to be valued as “reasonably high”. Political reviewers predict that the initiative will be approved in the first reading, without any exact financing figures for it specified. The National Immunization Strategy initiative will be taken into discussion in the beginning of May in Ottawa. And if approved, the strategy may start working in September 2008, just with the new schoolyear.

Where do all supplements results go…

July 26th, 2007 by admin

Recently I have noticed a complete fall out of the pages tagged with “supplemental result” from Google Index… The time has come to eradicate the pages that are not “valued enough” by Big Google? Not sure, though.

At the same time for very particular terms when there are no other results than “pages with a low number of incoming links” they are still shown. However these results are not stable and are bouncing every 5 mins. What’s that? Another “tiny tuning of the Algo”?

We’ll see…

Stay tuned! :-)

P.S. Anyway, take a look here. Previous searches showed quite a number of ’supplemental  results posts’.

Being 3rd for “seo issues” in Google - that’s a pleasure!

June 25th, 2007 by admin

Though not aiming at this keyword “seo issues” I’ve found out that eventually my blog moves to a 3rd (!!!) position right after Google and Matt Cutts Blog! Well, I really hope that sooner or later Matt will be aware of SeoGlobe.net.

Seo_issues_ranking

Frankly speaking, I do not have enough time to shovel away all my matters and get down to posting - I have much to say, for example, about paid links identification algo by Google, about upcoming Google dance and webmaster tools’ new feature.. But now at the moment, sorry guys, I’m really very busy.

Soon I hope all the things will clear out and relevant fresh and interesting information about SEO and related will be posted regularly.

Stay tuned! :-)

PR5 on the main page! Nice PR-update

April 28th, 2007 by admin

Woooow! Haven’t even expected this: I had links just from the pages with PR5 and luckily the Globalwarming awareness2007 contestant got PR6 today - that’s why PR=-1 rule has worked here ideally.

PR5

Yep, this is great to admire exactly one half of the green meter :-)

Thank you, Google and my link-partners as well!

Once again about rel=”nofollow”…

March 17th, 2007 by admin

I know that I must know that you all know what nofollow means ;-)

NOFOLLOW tag tells Google not to follow the links on a specific page

At the same time it’s high time to check again whether this parameter doesn’t work in ALL cases. I mean Google Webmaster Tools and its service to find out all kind of links: inbound and outbound ones.

I have looked through some of my projects’ details in WebTools when I stumbled upon an interesting thing - WebTools SHOW INBOUND LINKS THAT ARE TAGGED BY REL=”NOFOLLOW”! How on Earth can this be?! :-) I started to dig further and found a bunch of links that “recommend” my projects from web 2.0 social bookmarking networks! How should I interpret this fact? Are such links still crawlerable? Do the robots follow and reindex pages? Oh, the issue about PageRank is the most burning one, am I right? ;-)

Nevermind, we should wait for the next TBPR Update - PR will be out of question then. Nevertheless, am I the only one who have noticed this fact or not? Is it a bug? Or may be Webmaster Tools doesn’t … well, it is impossible. Google can not contradict itself. Should I ask M.Cutts directly? ;-)

Google -30 filter: what to do?

March 4th, 2007 by admin

Google uses this filter at the moment - nobody even doubts it! Google applies this filter if suspects that webmasters use spammy techniques while doing search engine optimization. What can be these spammy techniques?

First of all, spammy SEO-techniques can be abuse of java-scripts especially in links-schemes (java-scripts redirects); doorway pages that just drive traffic to the web-site; keyword staffing and other blackhat seo schemes that can affect your website and your rankings can drop by 30 spots.

Massive links-collecting can also affect your rankings and you can also be caught under this -30 filter. Checked on myself ;-) Too many identical links in a short period.
If the filter has been applied to your web-site - you still can improve your state! Reconsider the seo-strategy and find out the elements that can be seen spammy in SE’s eyes. If you have understood what could cause this filter and what needs to be done to improve your rankings - do it!!! Do not waste time hoping that “Google will start valuing my web-site at last”!

After you think you have done everything to qualify for the “top-placements” you can send a “reinclusion request” to Google.

P.S. The thing is that I’m not sure that some white seo-methods can not be ascribed to “spammy techniques” in Google eyes ;-)

Not indexed but has backlinks?

February 24th, 2007 by admin

I have one peculiar web-site that my team is to promote. It is http://www.teendrivingacademy.com. The seo-work on this site has started at the end of 2006 and step by step it comes out for very competitive results in the Search Engines - Google, Yahoo! but not Live.com (MSN). To be frank, it is not even indexed there! You know, everything was done in order for MSNbot to index this web-site. Unfortunately, nothing has helped. It still can not be found in MSN. But there is a very weird thing: MSN shows backlinks to this URL! :-) Type in there link:www.teendrivingacademy.com and you see 34 results! Strange, very strange! I’ll get back here when I find out the cause but what I see now is bringing me hope that sooner or later this frolicsome web-site will finally be indexed by Live.com

Is “nobody talking about getting #1 now?”

February 21st, 2007 by admin

Stumbled on the Webmasterworld thread that is called “Nobody talks about getting #1 now?”. Well, I must say this is necessary to read - may questions will be out ;-)

The first post of the author:

2 years back all the SEO forums were full of how to top the charts by playing fair SEO tricks and also by dirtly tricks. Looking at the hot topics being discussed in past few months its quite clear that focus has been changed to
1) How to defend site from being kicked outta Google
2) Other problems with sites like supplemental page, hijacking, dupelicate content etc etc.
3) Genearal disussion about quality of results

Have we lost the game to Google? Are we assuming that it has been almost impossible to be certan that YES I can take my site to top?

or the veterans know the secret but nobody shares?

Frankly speaking, the author is either unaware of the current situation in the SEO-world or  just wants his questions to be answered ;-) This CAN be a trick to make people talk about the 1,2,3 issues.
“the veterans know the secret but nobody shares?”

Of course! :-) Unfortunately, Search Engine Optimization is not a “trust everything community”. Guys, take it or leave it, but we are all competitors. We are already competing in many niches and everybody wants to be the first.

webmasterworld_still_advisable?

Another post:

“For people who listen, I share but most choose to just complain on here and eventually they go away over time because their site fails..”

Absolutely agree here! What’s going on? The tendency on the Greater Forum is to complain about the results, about “how Google hates me” , about everything! ;-)

Anyway, I’m not a veteran but I’m TALKING! I do not conceal anything - I share here with everyone. The other issue, do you guys have time to listen to it? ;-)

P.S. I really hope that you understand that this blog was created not just in order to take part in seo-contests like Globalwarming awareness2007 but to present useful information for webmasters and seo-guys.

Say “bye!” to Froogle once and for all!

February 17th, 2007 by admin

Froogle has always been one of the best shopping centers like Amazon.com or Ebay.com. At the same time it was presented by the “Big Boss” Google and was absolutely FREE for the advertisers. Well, why am I talking about it as if it is out of business or passed away?! No way, dear! :-)

It has turned into Google Base completely! More than a year they have co-existed simultaneously: the first one - allowing simple but “friendly” tags that were necessary to describe you products that had all chances to be seen by search-engine visitors; the second one - allowing for the enthusiasts to “play” with a large number of attributes in order to provide their visitors with a thorough description of the services and goods as well.

Not so long ago I have received a email from Google:

From: “Google Base Team”
To: me@me.com
Date: Wed, 31.01.2007 21:15:55
Subject: New product upload requirements

—————-Original text—————-

Hello,

As you know, we’re always looking for new ways to improve
our product search experience, both for our users and for
content providers. We’ve found that one of the most
effective ways to help users conduct faster and more
effective searches is to describe products with relevant
attributes – ideally those assigned by the people who best
understand their own products, meaning you.

That’s why we’re asking all Froogle merchants to send us
bulk uploads in the Google Base format, with five additional
attributes (along with the basic ones you’ve submitted in
the past). Because we think it’s important to provide a
consistent user experience, we will no longer list items
that don’t meet a minimal number of attributes by the end of
February 2007. Please review the following bulk uploads -
they do not currently meet the minimum attribute
requirement:

And then are following ALL my feeds :-( So, I have a big amount of work to do till the end of February,2007.

I have often been asked what are the “minimal attributes” that Google Base wants to see. There information about is really not easy to dig up from the Help section. That’s why I just enumerate here the list of minimal attributes that you should use in your feed:

  • brand
  • condition
  • description
  • expiration_date
  • id
  • image_link
  • link
  • price
  • product_type
  • title

Hope that will help you! :-)
